The Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation Strummerville Sessions

The Ruff Sqwad Foundation - Strummerville Sessions

The JSF teamed up with our friends at the Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation to fund a series of advanced industry sessions for the young talent they have been nurturing through their fantastic work in Tower Hamlets, East London.




Over summer 2019 spread across 10, 4hr studio sessions, Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation and producer Rowntree worked with 15 young people aged 15-20 – 13 MCs, 1 producer, and 1 sound engineer.

Advanced talent development elements included beats, lyrics, track production, performance, software, technical skills, teamwork, critiquing, and career development.
