We want JSF Runners to be an inclusive place to chat about running, health, encouragement, fitness, wellbeing, nutrition, Joe, and of course, music.
The idea is to engage with the global running community with the ultimate goal of raising funds for the Joe Strummer Foundation and we would love for you to join us on this journey – more news on this as we develop the idea.
Why The JSF Runners?
It is more important than ever to stay connected. Keeping mentally and physically fit is so important. The great running guru, Bart Yasso is fond of saying, “Never limit where running can take you”, running sure has taken us far beyond our limits; geographically, spiritually, and of course, physically. Similarly, music can help with our state of mind, moods, and of course listening to music when running can help smash those targets. We can do this together, under one global running club – JSF Runners.
What Difference Does It Make?
JSF Runners is a new running club that can help the Joe Strummer Foundation in its efforts to provide opportunities for musicians and support to projects around the world that create empowerment through music.
Sounds Great! How Can I Get Involved?
We aim to create some fun virtual race ideas, playlists, interviews, tips, running stories, Joe’s marathon exploits and interesting training plans, fundraising ideas, merchandise, offers, Joe Strummer Foundation news, and whatever else we think may be of interest.
We are testing the waters to see if there’s an interest in the JSF Runners idea. If this interests you we invite you to sign up to JSF Runners with the form below and we’ll keep you informed of developments via email, and we’ll invite you to our private JSF Runners group on Facebook.
The only Running Club That Matters
We are committed to making the JSF Runners into a community that promotes wellbeing, encourages all inclusive levels of fitness, is a lot of fun to be part of and makes a difference.
We hope Joe would be proud.
