DJ Yoda - Joe Strummer Foundation - Un-Convention

The Joe Strummer Foundation are thrilled to be curating partners of DEBUT; a new annual programme that supports emerging musicians from the local area of Hastings & Rother and aims to offer performance and development opportunities as well as studio time to record.

Year one kicks off with workshops for five artists this August and an opportunity to perform at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill supporting DJ Yoda on September 1st.

This project is supported by Rother District Council, Hastings Borough Council, De La Warr Pavilion Charitable Trust, Rhythmix and The Joe Strummer Foundation

Un-convention will also be coming along on the morning of September 1st; providing a music conference aimed at the grass-roots of the industry

About Un-Convention

Founded in 2008, Un-Convention is a UK based global music network and development agency. Our events and projects bring together artists and practitioners to share knowledge and expertise. Through this we develop new and innovative approaches to building sustainable careers and alternative models for the music industries. Un-Convention events have taken place all around the world, and every year we work with thousands of artists and industry practitioners through our conferences, workshops, youth projects, music co-operatives, gigs, festival stages and touring networks.
