Edinburgh Strummerville Benefit Gig

Edinburgh Calling: Desperation AM are a bitter sweet punk rock with a guitar sound in the vein of early PIL, featuring Paul Research formerly of 80’s innovators The Scars on violin and keyboards.

Babylon Dub Punks are a rare punk, dub, reggae hybrid, loose cannons on the local scene, transcending musical boundaries since 1977.

Critikill are fast and furious melodic punk rock at its best.

Glassface are a “rock n roll” wall of sound and a tempo that never lets up.

Dapitz Punk are an old school punk band, recollecting those halcyon early days where every single was a blast of fresh air with attitude.

The Threats know there way round the stage, consequently they are an amazing band live.

Recently turning heads locally are Molotov, as the name suggests, explosive and committed.

The Black Charge are new on the scene featuring, featuring Lizzie Fox (from the infamous Seafield Foxes) expect the unexpected!

We are quite chuffed with what we have put together in such a short space of time, many thanks to Full Moon Promotions, who do it for the music not the money.

Mary Venhelsing who puts on great events in the city, always giving new bands a platform for all the right reasons.

Thanks to Banshee Labyrinth, Shaun Taylor, Stephen Fraser and Junco Partner for a few hours graft behind the scenes to tie everything in.

Hope as many of you from South East Scotland can make it and raise as much as we can for Strummerville while remembering the passionate, principled, genius that was Joe Strummer.
