bringing people together through music

When Joe suddenly, unexpectedly and sadly died, we wanted to try and make something positive come out of the sadness of his passing.

One year later Strummerville, now the Joe Strummer Foundation, was established and a crystal clear mission set… to further the things that Joe believed in, which was bringing people together through music.

With support from you, we have been able to deliver on our promise to Joe and, for nearly two decades, provide opportunities to musicians and support to projects worldwide that create inclusion & empowerment through music.

Something we can all be proud of, don’t you think?

Without people, you’re nothing.

Thank you.

Our existence is only possible because of the support we receive.

The Joe Strummer Foundation is a not for profit organisation, registered in England & Wales. We depend entirely on fundraising – meaning, our reason for being, is made possible only through of the generous support we receive.

What do you mean by support?

GOOD QUESTION: Support for our work happens through monetary donations, goodwill donations, people organising fundraising for us, proceeds from our merchandise or subscribing to our newsletter & simply sharing our news with your people.

THANK YOU: Please know this… your continued support is a sure-fire way to further the things that Joe Strummer believed in, bringing people together through music, and for that we are eternally grateful.
