Win Tickets To Me, Punk and the World: Bernard Rhodes in Conversation at The British Library

Bernie Rhodes - Me Punk and the World - The Joe Strummer Foundation

The British Library has recently opened a small but acclaimed free exhibition ‘Punk 1976-78’ that tells the story of that exciting time through artefacts, photography, vinyl, fanzines and recordings and more. There is also a special punk shop. and a busy talks programme to tie in – featuring guest appearances by John Lydon, the Damned, Buzzcocks and many more.

One of these is an exclusive live interview with Bernard ‘Bernie’ Rhodes on Friday 27 May (6.30) who will be talking to journalist and musician John Robb about his two spells as manager of The Clash, and with The Specials, Dexy’s Midnight Runners and more. Rhodes is a fascinating, outspoken and surprising figure in the story and is a rare chance to hear him speak.
